The study of innovative technologies possibilities to eliminate the current problems of teaching associated with loss of attention.Supervisor: Mgr. Ingrida Bajčičáková, PhD.
This page shows details on the project. The primary projects are displayed together with a list of sub-projects.
|Project description:||The project deals with the possibility of integration and use of innovative technologies such as eye tracker (eye movement tracking ), infra cameras (body temperature monitoring ) and EEG (brain activity monitoring) in the learning process. These technologies provide a large amount of data and new opportunities to study human behaviour, offering objective data from body reactions to stimuli during the teaching process. Using the collected data and kognitive psychology, we can evaluate not only critical points of the learning text but also we are able to detect in which phase of teaching student loses attention. Loss of attention during education is in most cases unavoidable and in some cases favorable factor in the teaching process . The system whitch distinguish between favorable and unfavorable factors intervenes in an automated manner in order to unviolently “force” the student's mind to focus on the subject. During the education, collected and evaluated data from these devices can help teachers to improve learning strategies. They also help in the creation of educational courses and content thus promote the attainment of deep and long-lasting knowledge.|
