|Project description:||1. Investigation of particular timber properties as structural material for load bearing structural applications. Reology, anisotropy and variable characteristics of timber in the relation to the reliability and applicability. Applications to timber beams and combined timber beams. 2. Research and investigation of the real behavior and applicability of timber-concrete load bearing members for ceilings members. 3. Reinforced timber beams with high strength materials based on carbon fiber, fiberglass or kevlar fibers and metals. Repair and rehabilitation of timber load bearing members and systems using modern materials and technologies. Application of high strength materials based on carbon fiber, fiberglass or kevlar fibers and metals. 4. Composite ceiling load bearing members and beams based on timber and modern timber based materials. Beams with the webs made from ?Oriented Strand Boards? (OSB). Influence of reology and anisotropy.|
