|Project description:||In recent project VEGA (2/2054/22) was prepared a set of initial antioxidants by derivation pyridoindole of stobadin. Our explorative studies indicated, conformable with theoretical assumptions, that several from these new drugs have excellent antioxidant effects, low acute toxicity and unfavourable effects in comparison with a motherly drug. We found that these drugs provide protection of nervous tissue against injury during hypoxia and reoxygenacion. It is possible predict, that drugs with similar property would be able as valuable contributions for pharmacotherapy of diseases of the nervous system, where we expect oxidative stress. The part of this project will be also additional characterization of a toxicology profil for testing drugs. Extensive study of pharmacodynamics and toxicology of these drugs will be require their availability bigger quantity indeed. In this project we suggest an optimalization of educed synthetic technique and with preparation of selected drugs in quantity of grams.|
