Proposal of production paradigms - A Vision of production systems in the context of Industry 4.0Supervisor: Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Pavol Božek, CSc.
This page shows details on the project. The primary projects are displayed together with a list of sub-projects.
|Project description:||This project includes an innovative concept of new model of conceptual solution focusing on production systems as a production paradigm, i.e.: a vision of a standardized platform for the design and development of production systems according to new trends and the philosophy Industry 4.0.; this is to be done based on the technical and organizational aspects of it. The essence of the project lies on the innovative approach used to address the problem, since new products are considered to be the carriers of information and the ones collecting data and providing the necessary information about its surroundings (Logistics 4.0) at all times of the production process. The term “surroundings” must be understood as a set of production and cyber-physical systems that interact and cooperate with the information carriers using the Internet of things as a key elements of Industry 4.0. An important factor in any production system based on Industry 4.0 is the collaboration of human and intelligent manufacturing equipment, i.e.: their interoperability, networking and synchronization and collaboration. The main goal of this project lies on the creation of an implementation structure based on Industry 4.0. This structure will consist of a multilayer framework and will show the sequence of steps in implementing Industry 4.0 requirements. The topic allows work on and propose a series of original solutions, for example, the creation of a standardized platform (Methodology) to properly implement Industry 4.0 in concrete production situations, and this by comparing modelled production systems, processes, products and people, prior and post transforming the production system into the Industry 4.0 Concept. The standardized platform will also enable the implementation of technologies and technical solutions into production facilities, also the standardization of structural principles in the design and development of manufacturing systems, processes and products in the Industry 4.0 concept.|
