Project of inovative hand force-motion capture big data system ERGOVIA-DATALAB – Big Data Information System for real-time assessment of fingers movement using a digital grip with a link to the collection of forces and EMG – applied researchSupervisor: prof. Ing. Pavel Važan, PhD.
This page shows details on the project. The primary projects are displayed together with a list of sub-projects.
|Project description:||The project ERGOVIA-DATALAB is a unique interdisciplinary research project submitting by the consortium of partners - department of STU (Institute of Applied Informatics, Automation and Mechatronics (UIAM) and coentrepreneurs bussines organization (INNOV8), which is also a research organization. The subject of the project is applied research in the field of logistics, manufacturing and information and communication technologies, in line with the principles of the Big Data and Smart Industry concept (Smart Industry and Advanced Production Systems) and Digital Factory. The main objective of the project is to link the EAWS ergonomic methodology (Section 2, line 17 - see Figure 1), methodology for recognizing predefined biometric finger positions, hand palms and forearms working with at the upper limbs through the development of a conversion algorithm. Amongst the other, the result of the project will be a comprehensive database of predefined biometric positions and their sequences for the definition of short-term work sequences, with the development of a finger-palm-wrist biometric recognition and matching algorithm for a complex system of automatic hand position depends on finger position and upper limbs position with integrated electromyographic report.|
