Project description:Research and optimisation of synthetic methods for the rapid and simple laboratory preparation of both racemic and optically pure aminoalkenitols in multigram quantities. Study of the chemo-, regio- and stereoselectivity of Pd(II)-catalysed aminocarbonylations and haloaminocyclisations of racemic substrates. Effective synthesis of chiral and enantiomerically pure palladium complexes, their use in asymmetric version of developing methodology and study of the enantioselectivity of reactions. Applications of such prepared chiral building blocks as suitable precursors in the total syntheses of nitrogen containing and biologically active natural compounds as well as for the preparation of their unnatural derivatives with potential use in human medicine.
