Project description:Interaction of foundation structures with the subgrade in the case of difficult foundation conditions is solved in the project. First part of the project deals with the primary consolidation. Long-term component of foundation structure?s settlement as a result of primary consolidation is analyzed. In the second part the project focuses on up-to-date technologies of foundation structure?s construction. Here, especially the interaction of foundation plates (e.g. the concrete floor plates with scattered reinforcement) with the subgrade is considered. The state of stress in the floor plates loaded by the large singular load is analyzed. Using the light foundation plates represents new technological advancement. In the project, deformations and stresses of the foundation plates, as well as the foundation plates with various thicknesses are dealt with. All these technological innovations are based on the idea of reduction of building materials used.
