|Project description:||Industrial processes involving chemical reaction and separation in one unit are called reactive separation. Such operations involved a huge number of parallel and consecutive processes (chemical kinetics and equilibrium, phase equilibrium, heat and mass transfer, multiphase flow etc). Mathematical modeling of the reactive separation units represents a useful tool for its design, optimization, parametric sensitivity and safety analysis. The main aim of the proposed project is to develop nonequilibrium model of reactive separation unit with very fast chemical reactions in steady state and in the dynamic regime, and to apply developed model for a simulation of such units.|
