This page shows details on the project. The primary projects are displayed together with a list of sub-projects.

Project description:The current is oriented to advanced research area of organic semiconductors thin film preparation and their characterization for application in a perspective opto-and microelectronic devices. Centre of the project is the development of a thin film deposition technology and monomolecular layer by Langmuir-Blodgett method for growth of layers and structures of organic LEDs (OLEDs) and organic field effect transistors (OFETs) based on small molecules A1Q3, NPB, rubrene, pentacene and insulating parylene films. By the development of a new organic structures and devices will be evolved and applied simultaneously the structural, electrical and optical diagnostic method with nanometer resolution ability. The characterization methods will be mainly focused to study the interfaces between the insulator and the organic semiconductor in OFET structure as well as undoped and doped organic layers, passivation layers and injecting contacts in OLED structure for improvement of the electronic and optical properties of the devices.
