|Project description:||Academic institutions pursue science to further human knowledge. Many seeds of biotech innovation lie in academic basic science supported by government-funded institutions. However, they cannot subsidize the high cost of product development, whereas investors and companies are more then willing to do so in pursuit of profits. Therefore it makes sense to transfer a technology from a university/R&D institute to a company once there is enough scientific data to support a business plan. The general objective of the project is to lecture and coach the most excellent life sciences researchers at public R&D institutions for high-tech entrepreneurship and lead them to creation of their own company - biotech spin-off. The general objective is corresponding with the state priority of long-life learning and qualification enhancement for R&D human resources aiming for technology transfer.|
