|Project description:||Design of syntheses, supported by theoretical studies, of novel heterocyclic compounds. Synthesis of derivatives of novel pi-conjugated heterocycles of the thiophene, pyrrole, furan imidazole, pyriazine, fluorene and anthrone derivatives series as well as of their bioactivity. Study of controlled dimerization and trimerization of the synthesized pi-conjugated heterocyclic compounds for preparation of molecular and supramolecular functional units and nanostructures. Synthesis of thiophene oligomers in the channels of a synthetic zeolite and at the surface of inorganic semiconductor (TiO2). Modeling of novel supramolecular units and potential pi-conjugated antenna systems pro molecular recognition and self-assembly by utilizing theoretical calculations and combination of various building blocks.Synthesis and utilization of perfluoroaromatics for molecular recognition. Synthesis and modelling of structure of compounds active against cancer and launching apoptosis.|
