|Project description:||The project is oriented toward the study of flavonoids and their derivatives as a group of substances with numerous positive biological effects which are applicable in a development of nutraceuticals. It is focused on the flavonoid stabilization via the synthesis of lipophilic derivatives in the esterification of flavonoid hydroxyl groups with aliphatic molecules. This selective attitude enables not only the increase in the solubility and stability of these compounds in lipophilic media but also the improvement in bioavailability and biological properties of flavonoids.|
