|Project description:||The central idea of the project is the use of accurate calculations based on analytical equations as a basis for predicting roughness characteristics of machined surfaces. In the center of interest, the physical causes of the formation of machined surfaces are studied at the level of the geometric-kinematic, mechanical-physical and technological properties of the members of the machining system. The individual physical causes will be studied separately and also in superpowers of their dominant activity. Our goal is to create mathematical models and simulation algorithms for the individual physical causes of the surface to be machined. As prototypes for study we will consider technologies such as turning, milling and grinding, ie prototypes and machining models with a defined cutting edge, defined with multiple cutting edges and with undefined cutting edges. Another target group of studies and research is the inclusion of significant dynamic and rigid characteristics of machine tools and in particular machine robots. Robots will be given more time and emphasis to study the impact of movements, kinematic bonds and trajectories. The inclusion of a robot machining technology system is a very important element of our study and research, which can be considered as the central theme of the project. Methodological development will be implemented into programmability packages, for the cutting edge shape, the roughness of the cutting edge, system oscillation, machine and robot model, together with the GSRsim (Graphical Surface Roughness simulator) software solution. At the same time, the study will focus on the essence and description and creation of mathematical models and developmental algorithms for wear and durability of cutting tools, the growth and cessation of built up edge, and their integration into a complex model for simulation.|
