Project description:The deepening of knowledge about the effect of pore structure of the brick body on its frost resistance permits to affect one of the most important properties of the roofing tile - its durability. The present knowledge to refer to the fact that on the achievement of high frost resistance of the roofing tile plays an important role not only the pore volume but above all the median pore radius. So far is the zone of change of the pore structure during freezing and thawing small known. The knowledge these changes during freezing and thawing can be important not only at prediction of the rest durability of the roofing tile, but also to the knowledge of the forming process of old historical roofing tiles.
