This page shows details on the project. The primary projects are displayed together with a list of sub-projects.
|Project description:||Nowadays one of the most topical task of mankond is the reduction of carbon dioxide emission into atmosphere. Our towns contribute about 80% of the whole amount of all emitted gases. The iniative of solar cities originated to find apropriate methods how to reduce carbon dioxide emission and create so called low carbon cities. The objecrtive of the project is to evaluate a possibility to use the experiences of existing solar cities, to generalize some procedure and to eleborate a scenario of possible procedure for chosen Slovak town. As a model city we propose the capital of Slovakia Bratislava, which is possible to compare with Autrian Linz or Freiburg in Germany. A partial goal will be to evaluate suitability of low energy buildings or passive buildings in densely built areas.|
