|Project description:||A strategy of the project is represented by the combination of the synthetic, analytical, and diagnostic techniques with the aim to prepare new inorganic materials assembled from coordination compounds. The magnetoactivity of polynuclear complexes, mainly of Mn(II), Fe(II), Fe(III), Co(II) a Ni(II), lies in the centre of interest; this is reflected into the phenomena of molecular magnetism such as the ordering temperature to the ferromagnetic state, transition temperature for spin crossover systems, color change at thermochromic systems, magnetocaloric effect, effects accompanying changes in magnetoactivity, and photoswitching of magnetoactive materials. Research is focused to the multistep processes determined by the electron multistability that lead to a multifunctionality of the material and a higher physical density of the recorded information in data-recording and displaying units.|
