Project description:Project is oriented to the field of the Optimization of the mechatronic systems? control, with special focus to mobile robots. Various aspects of intelligent mechatronics, like an optimized design of intelligent systems, design of control and power subsystems and algorithms of information processing will be elaborated within the project. Intelligent motion systems will be addressed on the basis of new methods related to neuro-fuzzy structures. Problems of the high accuracy trajectory tracking will be addressed in the light of the theory of the variable structure systems. Attention will be devoted to the elimination of undesirable features of the sliding mode control. Problems related to modelling and parametric optimization of the nonlinear dynamic systems with multi-valued characteristics (like hysteresis, backlash in the gear trains and others) will constitute a natural part of the project. Effectiveness of the evolution-based optimization will be analysed as well.
