|Project description:||Development and trends in civil engineering confirm, that timber is becoming strategical constructional building material in 21st century. Predestinate him to that particularly his ecologicality in stages of his growth, exploitation and liquidation. In Slovakia are these merits even more highlighted by relativ sufficiency and by good quality of timber material. Wide exploitation of wood is therfore in interest of SR so as these prefereces of wood could be utilized economicaly and also ecologicaly. Favourable development in this tendency is in full coincidence with trends in EU about enhancement and ecologicality of building materials. This is possible to achive by improving and ennoblemnting of mechanical and structural properties of wood. Remark by this science-research work within this project will be therefore focused on theoretical and experimental determination of load carrying capacity and stiffness of reinforced and composite timber beams by their elastic, inelastic and also rheologycal behaviour.|
