Fast Gas Chromatography for Analysis of Endocrine Disruptors in Environmental Matrices.Supervisor: doc. Ing. Svetlana Hrouzková, PhD.
This page shows details on the project. The primary projects are displayed together with a list of sub-projects.
|Project description:||Project is devoted to development of fast and sensitive analytical methods for endocrine disruptors (EDCs) monitoring on ultra-trace concentration level. The occurrence and concentration of non-natural EDCs is an excellent marker for human impact. The EU priority list for ECDs includes also a range of endocrine active pesticides and aromatic compounds. This follows the scientific requirements for the better understanding of pollutants effects, the increase of reliability of analytical results, what stimulates the establishment of legal directives to better control of pollution of environment to protect the health of inhabitants. The promising solution to reach the low limits of quantitation, particularly in complicated matrices (food, waters) is the combination of sample preparation (utilising the fast and effective preparation methods) and subsequent analysis under the optimized fast GC, GC-MS conditions. The parameters and robustness of the developed methods will be evaluated using chemometric approaches.|
