|Project description:||The overall objective of this research is to receive high-value low-volume chemicals and low-value high-volume fuels from wastes and renewable resources. The subject of the scientific project is the study of reaction kinetics and mechanisms of: a) the thermal decomposition of individual and mixed waste plastics into fuels (gasoline, diesel fuels) and chemicals (d,l-limonene; aromatics) b) copyrolysis of oil/waxes from wastes with naphtha into basic petrochemicals (olefins, aromatics) c) catalytic etherification of glycerol with C4-and C5 fraction into fuel oxygenates (glycerolethers) d) transesterification of vegetable oils over alkaline heterogeneous catalysts|
