|Project description:||The proposed project deals with development of advanced adaptive, optimal and robust control methods for industrial processes. Focus is on network control systems, predictive control systems, hybrid and embedded control systems, and optimal control of manufacturing systems using distributed control systems. In the adaptive control, robust control algorithms with improved learning will be developed. In the robust control, original decentralized control methods for complex systems will be developed with guaranteed performance using original LMI and BMI and frequency domain approaches. Application of BMI is expected in the design of stabilizing and robust predictive control algorithms and PID controllers. In the optimal control of manufacturing systems, characteristics of production planning algorithms will be analyzed as well as possibilities of their optimization using the production planning and management application software. Project outcomes will be applied in control of various process types.|
