Analysis and Interpretation of High-frequency Positioninig Using Global Satellite Navigation Systems

Project description:Investigation of problems related to high-frequency (from 1 Hz to 20 Hz) monitoring, interpretation, and analysis from data obtained by observations of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). Series of experimental observations aimed to obtain reliable data for study of short-term variations of position will be performed. Methods of relative positioning from the high-frequency monitoring based on the BERNESE GPS software of the Astronomical Institute of University in Berne will be elaborated. Besides, the analysis procedures based on our own software product ABSOLUTE using the Precise Point Positioning (PPP) approach will be developed. Studies about specific phenomena related to high-frequency monitoring, like multipath, frequency dependent noise modelling and short-term ionosphere variability will be performed. Evaluation of optimum analysis method and its verification on experimental data.
