|Project description:||Project deals with the tasks of biocornpatibility of material s used in medicine for artificial implant production. Diamond like carbon films fulfil the three basic conditions for artificial implants coating which are bio logical, chemical and mechanical compatibility - they are nontoxic, noncarcinogenic. noninflamatory, corrosion resistant, wear resistant and they have high hardness. Optimisation of deposition conditions of biocompatible films based on carbon and nitrogen for purpose of achieving ideal mechanical and biological properties aehieving will be done in deposition apparatus installed at KME FEI STU. Film properties will be analysed mainly using Raman Spectroscopy, SEM, GDOES. SIMS, AFM and mechanicai tests.|
