|Project description:||The project is devoted to research of possibilities of simultaneous excitation of two or more modes in piezoelectric resonators, primary in order to the resonator self-temperature-sensing. The simultaneous excitation of the modes is realized with assistance of dual-mode and multi-mode crystal oscillators (DMXO and MMXO). Emphasis is put to thickness-shear modes in perspective precise quartz bulk acoustic wave resonators, especially in SC-cuts, which forms a key part of many high-stability reference oscillators and of some secondary time and frequency standards. Large part of the project is devoted to study of basic parameters of the excited modes and to measurement and analysis of their resonant frequency vs. temperature dependencies. The project is devoted to analysis of particular mode drive level influence and to impact of individual modes each to other during the simultaneous excitation as well.|
