|Project description:||Content of this project is oriented to modeling of mechanical and mechatronic parts and structures made of the composite - functionally graded - materials (FGMs) built in the form of single and multilayered bars, beam s and membranes, which are affected by electric - thermal - structural and piezoelectric loads. Element equations of the new finite elements will be established in which a variation of the geometrical and material properties will be assumed. The varying effective material properties will be calculated by the extended mixture rules and laminate theory. Deformation effect of the shear forces and the torsion with warping will be included in the stiffness matrices of the FGMs beam elements. The in - plane rotational degree of freedom will be assumed in the nodal points of the membrane finite element. The derived new element matrices will be implemented into computer program. Numerical simulations and experimental verifications of chosen multiphysical problems will be performed as well.|
