|Project description:||The proposed project is aimed at research of processes in composite electrical insulations based on thermoset materials modified by the fibres with dimensions from 10 to 1000 nm. These insulations have better mechanical properties comparing with the conventional insulations. Basic properties of the composite insulations are in majority determined and limited by the phenomena at the interface of the base material (matrix) and the filler. Within the project the influence of the rate and type of filler as well as the influence of technology on the insulation properties will be investigated. The impact of interfaces created in consequence of an inhomogeneous structure will be analysed by the methods of dielectric spectroscopy. Degradation of selected composites will be monitored also during a long-term thermal and electric load. The goal of the project should be the optimisation of the technology and structure of the composites based on thermoset materials intended for use in extremely loaded insulation systems.|
