Project description:The aim of this project is basic research in area of centrifugal spin casting of low melting point alloys into vulcanized silicon moulds by Tekcast method. The mould material is silicon rubber Teksil enabling castng of zinc, tin, lead alloys, polymers, waxes and also aluminium alloys for thin walled castings. The technology use the effect of centrifugal power which enable to increase air tightness and density of castings by venting of gases and elimination of microporosity creation. This technology offers possibilities to high precision and quality of castings production with highest possible productivity, precision and quality.
