Project description:The aim of the project is the study of electronic structure of coordination compounds od 3-d elements from accurate X.ray and synchrotron data in solid state. Electronic structure is studied also by theoretical quantum chemistry methods and by indirect structural methods (EPR, magnetic measurements, IR spectroscopy). Compound studied could be models for biologic systems. As model compounds we studied [CuI(bite)](BF4) and [CuII(bite)](BF4)2 .
