|Project description:||The European Challenge is an academic project for third, final year and postgraduate students which investigates the decision making process made by organisations when (re)locating their office and production facilities. It examines the changing environment for real estate services and the ability to influence corporate productivity. It will also examine how real estate professionals can improve the process of matching the business needs of corporations (and how they express those needs) with the products offered by the real estate industry. The study will investigate beyond the normal location based factors and address contemporary issues such as market maturity and availability of new procurement options such as P4/PPP; sustainability; labor relations and skills availability, space standards, flexibility and the impact of ICT.|
