|Project description:||Built ? environment has to accept vast variety of human beings and their needs and expectations from architecture, urbanism and product design. It has to offer provisions for the human rights concerning to living, education, work, recreation... Design of barrier-free built environment ? Environment for All ? can not implant in it such a physical and other kind of barriers which can cause discrimination of any group of society (including the group of disabled people, seniors, children, pregnant women...). Research carried out with European Institute for Design and Disability ? Design for All Europe (EIDD) will channel all of intended activities in the respect of DfA to be fully compatible with goals of European Union. There is a chance for Slovakia to participate at research of this new approach to the architectural, urban and product design.|
