Methodology for evaluation of biotreatability improvement of heavily polluted wastewaters after chemical treatment.Supervisor: prof. Ing. Ján Derco, DrSc.
This page shows details on the project. The primary projects are displayed together with a list of sub-projects.
|Project description:||The goal of this project is to set up methodology for evaluation of economically and ecologically applicable wastewaters treatment methods by means of advanced chemical oxidation. The project focuses on the study of evaluation biotreatability enhancement of wastewaters containing recalcitrant organic pollutants. Combinations of selected advanced oxidation treatment processes and biological treatment processes will be investigated in order to improve biotreatability of wastewaters. The study will be conducted using heavily polluted synthetic and real industrial wastewaters as well as landfill leachates with low biotreatability potential.|
