|Project description:||The project is focused on processing and investigation of properties of novel lead-free solders for high-temperature applications. New solders developed in the frame of the project will consist of various combinations of tin, zinc, cobalt, silver, copper and rare earth elements. Thermodynamic and kinetic aspects of soldering will be studied. Phase equilibria and formation of intermetallic phases at the solder/substrate interface will also be investigated.|
