|Project description:||The basis of the project is an original intertwining of methods of algebraic and topological graph theory with the contemporary techniques in the theory of designs and incidence structures, aiming to build tools for construction and classification of combinatorial structures with high level of symmetry. This approach has potential to yield new strong results and to contribute to answering several open questions in the area of representation of graphs, designs and incidence structures on compact surfaces and in the study of symmetry groups of such representations, including constructions of symmetric models in applications of graphs, maps and designs.|
