Project description:Project is aim at the research of laser micromachining process (laser micromilling and so called laser microstructuring) during machining of metals by solid-state Nd: YAG laser. One part of research will be evaluation of significant characteristics of technological heritability, influencing chosen technological and utility properties of machined material. Two fields of interest are solved in this project. The first is the assignment of laser-induced surface degradation relevancy on modifications in corrosion resistance of corrosion-resistant steels and Ti-alloys with the different degree of deformation strengthening (thin sheet workpieces made by technology of drawing and metal spinning).
