|Project description:||The project aims to reduce and eliminate adverse impacts of the sewer system, which affects the urban areas at the time of floods. As part of ongoing climate change, we recently witnessed the negative impact of extreme rains on urban territory, which is attacked by a flood wave affects the drainage system, which is the source of contamination of the flood affected areas. Another problem is the suddenly flooding of certain parts of urban areas due to extreme storms, when the sewer system is overloaded or the sewer systems can't receive excess amount of the rainfall water from extreme rainfall events. This problem needs to solve with regard to protection of the population health and assets. The project will be solved by field research and subsequent mathematical processing by software using sophisticated tools and mathematical modeling (2D and 3D modeling) in order to propose measures that will be implementable in the design process or the operation of sewage systems. The project concerns the sewer system and their structures.|
