Modeling and acquisition, processing and employing knowledge about user activities in theInternet hyperspaceSupervisor: prof. Ing. Mária Bieliková, PhD.
This page shows details on the project. The primary projects are displayed together with a list of sub-projects.
|Project description:||The project solves the current problem area of improving efficiency of the information providing and processing in the Internet. The primary approach used in this project comes from the idea to consider specific properties, habits and needs of the Internet web service user. By creating a suitably defined and represented user model, a space will be opened for design of methods which will enable a user to better (faster, more accurately?) access desired information. Inputs for user model creation are at one side a track of his individual activities in the Internet space (behavioral patterns, typical navigational destinations and sequences, etc.), while on the other side they are results of his social behavior in the user community with similar interests (mutual recommendations, etc.). The model defined this way may be derived for an individual user from his previous activities in the Internet space.|
