This project joins previous projects of mentioned researchers. It deals with an optimal design and control problems with respect to shape and sizes of elastic and viscoelastic structures (webs, plates, shells) made of composite materials having non-linear properties with consideration of unilateral boundary conditions caused by some of the obstacles (mechanical, physical, singular boundary bonds). A discretization and numerical interpretation of the problem. Design of computer routines for the numerical analysis of structures. Application of reliability and serviceability aspects in optimal design of real structures with respect to valid design codes.
