Project description:
Growing of water resources pollution leads to degradation of quality of surface and ground water and because of this water has to be treated. In many cases water treatment is one of the possible way for water supply with quality drinking water. Goal of this project is attestation of application possibilities of selected new filtration and adsorption materials (Bayoxide E33, GEH, activated alumina, zeolite with activated surface, Greensand, Birm, etc.) in water treatment for removal of specific inorganic contamination from water, to test their sorption properties and compare efficiency of these materials. Optimize of filtration conditions, design of regeneration process and economic evaluation of whole water treatment process, it will be part of designed project. Goal of submitted project is experimental checking of possibilities to use double ? and multilayer sorption materials in water treatment considering specific composition of water and removal contaminants, and development new sorption material.
