|Project description:||Any construction in the landslide areas must be preceded by rehabilitation of landslides, what is technically and financially demanding and is associated with a risk of inefficiency. Reduction of that risk and financial costs can only be provided by obtaining actual data for a proposal of a remediation work. The most important properties include the geotechnical properties of soil in the landslide body and at the shear surface and ground water pressure conditions. The main objective of the project is to establish methods of obtaining representative parameters of the geotechnical soil properties by laboratory tests, methods of re-calculation of slope stability or by indirect derivation from index soil properties, mineral composition of soil and geotechnical monitoring of landslides. Residual shear strength parameters of sliding deluvial soils will be also determined on regional basis.
