 Title of the thesis: New construction of sources of wind power plants and their interconnection with the distribution network Summary: This piece of work has been divided into several parts. First of all, I wrote about the introduction of wind power plants, Global statistics, its rate of growth, compared with other traditional means of producing electrical energy. Secondly, the properties of small sources of electrical energy and their construction ,in this part i wrote about the main dimensions of the generator, Wind power plants with the adjustable speed generators, the Double --Fed Induction Generators ASG System, Direct in- line- ASG System, simple equations, advantages and disadvantages and some efficient power output diagrams. I also considered the study and construction of wind power plants and their connection diagram, emphasis was placed in permanents magnet arrangements, soft magnetic equations, number of poles with associated speed in r.p.m. and the various wind electric diagram arrangements in wind turbines. I then did some geometrical modeling and computation of permanent magnetic poles of sources of wind power plants without the gearbox by means of Femm and it resultant flux density and graph analysis. The final part of my work, it emphasized on the interconnection of wind power plants with the transmission and distribution network, technical conditions as well as political conditions of integrating wind energy into our networks. I also dealt with the various problems which arise after connecting it to the network. The political and legal issues faced when seeking permission to connect to the network.
