Title of the thesis:Possibilities for evaluating and improving safety of operation of distribution lines in terms of ecological aspects of bird protection
Summary:In this work is theoretically analyzed the issue of bird mortality at transmission and distribution lines. There are described in more detail the various causes of mortality as well as methods of protection. This section also lists some currently produced types of consoles. A special section is devoted to studies of some localities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, where they were taken steps to protect birds near transmission and distribution lines. The work includes the action taken and processed the results. Another section is devoted to technical parameters of overhead power lines, their design and operational requirements as required in standards. Data from this section are used in the practical part of the diploma thesis. The practical part consists of a voltage tests performed on different types of available eco-protectors and of custom design a new type of eco-protector. This design is based on lessons learned and data from issues described throughout the work. There are also contained voltage tests performed on a prototype of a new eco-protector.
